Booking terms
Updated: 21 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-21.1
Contracting party and scope
Your contracting party is Thomas Hennig, Pension Bergidyll, GrenzstraĂe 6, 08248 Klingenthal, Germany; email: info@bergidyll-aschberg.de; telephone: +49 37467 639588. These terms apply to stays offered through this website. Individual agreements and mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Booking offer and contract formation
Accommodation listings invite you to submit a booking offer. By choosing âBook with obligation to payâ, you submit a binding offer for the accommodation, dates, occupancy and services in your final summary at the stated accommodation total. Your offer remains binding for 48 hours from receipt by us. A contract is concluded only if our express booking confirmation reaches you within that period. Your offer expires without timely acceptance. The website receipt and any acknowledgement of receipt are not acceptance or a binding reservation. A selection of multiple units is one overall offer that can only be accepted in its entirety. A late confirmation or one that changes your offer constitutes a new offer requiring your acceptance.
Review, corrections and contract documents
Before submitting, you can review and correct your details, travel dates, accommodation, occupancy and extras through the input fields, âChange selectionâ or âBack to accommodationâ. Bookings can be made in German or English. You can save the booking terms and offer summary as a text file before submitting. We store your offer with the applicable version of the terms in Beds24; we do not provide a password-protected online account for contract documents. With our express acceptance, you receive a booking confirmation containing the contract details and terms on a durable medium, for example by email.
Services and prices
Your final booking summary determines the selected accommodation, dates, occupancy and services. The accommodation total includes applicable taxes, final cleaning and selected paid extras. Breakfast is included for Rooms 1â6; it can be deselected for the penthouse apartment, where a kitchen can also be selected separately. Child discounts and extras are included in the summary. Additional paid services require a separate agreement. Requests in the free-text field are only guaranteed if expressly agreed. If a selected service, such as the garage, is unavailable, we will discuss a change with you rather than unilaterally accepting a modified offer. The guest tax paid separately to the town is not included in the accommodation total.
Payment and security deposit
The agreed accommodation total is payable on arrival at the property in cash or by card. No payment takes place through this website. No advance payment or security deposit is required.
Guest tax
For taxable stays, Klingenthal charges an additional âŹ2.00 per person aged 14 or over per day of stay; arrival and departure count together as one day. Children aged 13 or younger are exempt. Sections 2 and 4 of the municipal rules specify further exceptions, including professional stays, and exemptions. For stays exceeding 28 days, an annual guest card is available for âŹ56.00 per year and property. Tax is due on arrival. As a general rule, guests register and pay through WELCMpass or the QR code provided at the property no later than their arrival date. We check registration and encourage compliance. Special arrangements under the municipal rules remain unaffected. The municipal rules in force at the time apply.
Cancellation, no-show and early departure
No contractual right to free cancellation is granted. Please notify us of cancellations or changes as early as possible by email or telephone. Statutory rules apply if you are personally prevented from travelling, do not arrive or leave early. Where payment remains due under those rules, we deduct saved expenses and benefits from letting the accommodation to someone else; section 537 BGB is particularly relevant to accommodation. No flat-rate cancellation charge is agreed. Statutory rights to withdraw from or terminate a contract and other statutory rights remain unaffected.
No statutory withdrawal right for accommodation on specific dates
Under section 312g(2)(9) BGB, contracts for accommodation for purposes other than residential use on specific dates or for a specific period do not carry a statutory distance-selling withdrawal right. This is separate from cancellation or other lawful termination of the contract.
Arrival, departure and house rules
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Different times require prior agreement. Confirmed guest numbers apply; discuss additional guests or changes with us beforehand. The property is smoke-free. Quiet hours are 22:00â07:00. Dogs are allowed only in Room 6 by prior arrangement and at the stated extra charge. Other pets require a separate prior agreement.
Defects and statutory rights
Please report defects during your stay as soon as possible so that we can remedy them. These terms do not restrict your statutory rights, including rights relating to defects or damage for which we are responsible. Statutory rules apply to damage.
